  Well if you have a rare disease that encompasses your entire body Dr Bakken is not for you. After many years of seeing her she has quit trying. I don't know if this is because of the new health insurance issues in America or she is just a lazy sack like the rest of Beaumont's GI department. The only way I would ever recommend Bakken to anybody is if you need one test or your condition requires very little homework for her to do because she NEVER took the time to seriously look at my diagnosed life long disease that most certainly effects your GI system. At one time I would've said she is the best GI Doctor around, but now she is just in it for the money and to keep that waiting room full to pay for all luxuries in life she has. It must be nice to have a job that you make a ton of money for doing nothing in the end when your patient needs you more than ever... The best part too is after switching to another hospital and GI Doctor I had a non invasive test done that in all my years with Dr. Bakken she never performed. This test along with a new prescription have solved all the problems I was seeing Dr. Bakken for? One test and one prescription that she NEVER tried cured me 95%. How after all the years I spent with Dr. Bakken did she never try what my new Dr. tried who is also a Gastroenterologist? Again I say, Dr. Bakken is in it just for the money and to keep her three different offices full and surgery center. She is a poor, poor Dr. at best.
